DJAYBUDDAH ROCKED NEW YORK
Like Hip-Hop itself, DJAYBUDDAH was born and raised in New York City. As a kid growing up in Jackson Heights, Queens, he began experimenting with turntables in '95. One day he caught a live showcase with DJ Kid Capri, a part of Puff Daddy and the Family's 1997 "No Way Out" tour. The show ignited his passion, talent, and love for music into a calling that exploded into a career.
DJAYBUDDAH rose quickly through the ranks of New York City's legendary DJs, and in no time at all was rocking major clubs like LIMELIGHT/AVALON, EXIT, STUDIO 54, CHEETAH, SPEED, and the infamous legendary TUNNEL.
DJAYBUDDAH ROCKS THE WORLD WITH THAITANIUM
DJAYBUDDAH is currently putting the thump in THAITANIUM'S beats as the official DJ for THAILANDS #1 HIP-HOP ARTISTS. The DJAYBUDDAH/THAITANIUM team have garnered the biggest awards in Thailand, including "Best New Group of the Year," "Best New Single of the Year," and "Artist/Group of the Year."
Significant moments include THAITANIUM and DJAYBUDDAH backed Thai pop diva Tata Young on a track, "Dangerous", in 2005. That was just a warm-up as Thaitanium took over the hip-hop side of the music biz, bringing their style of Thai hip-hop to the MTV Asia Awards, and opening for 50 CENT, JAY Z, RIHANNA and NAS on their Asian tours.
The combined might of DJAYBUDDAH and THAITANIUM has resulted in five albums to date: AA, Thairider, Province 77,R.A.S (Resisting Against da System) and their latest, Thailand's Most Wanted. The first two albums, AA and Thai Rider were underground releases that paved the way for hip-hop in Thailand. The third project, a score for the movie Proviince 77, was hip-hop's stepping-stone into the Thai mainstream. The team of DJAYBUDDAH and THAITANIUM are now in the process of conquering Asia and the rest of the world with their musical talent.
JAYBUDDAH ROCKS THE WORLD WITH BANGKOK INVADERS
DJAYBUDDAH, alongside DJ ONO, joined forces in Thailand by founding BANGKOK INVADERS, the pioneering DJ collective that defines hip-hop in Thailand. BKK Invaders have taken their unique blend of the hottest new hip-hop, reggae, reggaeton, R&B and old school joints to Asia and the world, touring countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Canada, and dropping beats on cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, London, and New York City.
The always-in-demand DJAYBUDDAH and his BANGKOK INVADERS are resident DJs in Bangkok's hottest clubs, including BED SUPPERCLUB, ROUTE66, CLUB SLIM, 808, and FASHION TV F-BAR.
